Mountain Food at its best only at ‘Sakleys the Mountain Cafe’

Sakleys the Mountain Cafe is currently being run by its 3rd generation of family entrepreneur and the outlet in GK 1 – M Block Market is one of their newest additions. The story of Sakley’s is printed on its menu. The story which started in Nanital in 1944 has reached Gurgaon, Delhi and as far as London. The ambiance takes you to the beautiful misty mountains to relax and enjoy the evening at Sakley’s. The tables are made from huge logs of pines and the pine cones are embedded in the floors to make it more rustic. The setting is truly inspirational and the music is so soothing in this atmosphere.

Sakleys

Loved the fact that Sakley’s wants to keep everything traditional as it was back in the days and therefore most of the items are made inhouse rather than procuring it from the outside. This gives their dishes the taste of the mountains and a true Continental/European affair. Mr Amit, one of the owners of Sakley’s was kind enough to brief us on the history of Sakley’s and made us taste some of their homemade sauces. Sakley’s has been a experience of its kind and every item we tried on the menu, stands out.
