Aubree – The Haute Chocolataire
Aubree, a premium chocolatiare and bakery recently opened its flagship store in Kormangala, Bangalore. The brand has been operational since 2011 with a small outlet in Sadashivnagar. The store in Koramangala is huge in size and one can enjoy not only some of the finest chocolates but also a variety of savories, pastries and appetizers. Last year, the brand also received the award for ‘The Patisserie of the Year’ at the ‘World On a Plate’ Gourmet food festival.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, Aubree announced a 3-course meal at just Rs.299+ for women. The offer is valid on 8th, 9th and 10th March. The meal also comes with a complimentary cupcake which are very unique as it highlights virtue flags. The brand also introduced ‘Cheer Box’ for Women to reduce the discomfort during your moon days ( #LetHerExplore ). The box contains dark chocolate containing magnesium, known to help temper swings and regulate Serotonin (the happy hormone). Also comes with chocolate spread, granola bar, cashew cookies among others.
At Aubree, you can enjoy munching some of the best appetizers. We tried their Belgium Hot Chocolate Shot, it was creamy and rich chocolate shot made with 55% pure Belgian dark chocolate. The Orange Carrot Soup on the other hand was created with slow cooked carrots, squeezed orange and a dash of white pepper. The orange gave it a interesting twist. The Crispy Paneer Fingers are not to be missed. The cottage cheese are cut into strips and are battered with their peri peri spices and deep fried until crunchy. The combo was spicy and flavorful! The Paneer Rosemary Steak is a complete meal in itself. The cottage cheese is seared in butter and chilli sauce and is served with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
Their Signature Pizza is topped with Paneer and basil pesto green apple. The dough is made in house which gives a perfect crust. The Vegan Asparagus Penne is created from sauteed asparagus and penne pasta tossed in basil pesto sauce. The use of premium olive oil was remarkable to put everything together. Lastly, the Veg Dine is another meal in itself. The vegetables are marinated in herbs, cream and blended in a homemade red sauce. It is served with rice in the middle.
At Aubree the choices for desserts are many. We ordered the Petit Desserts Platter which comes with the Choco Hazelnut Feast, Keylime Raspberry Cupcake and the Whiskey on the chocs. The Whiskey on the chocs was unique as is was non-alchoholic and had a rich almond praline. We even got our hands on the Orabella Iced Parfait. This is their signature award winning dish with 35% Belgian milk chocolate parfait cream with hazelnut crumble base and cocoa velvet finish. Amazing is just an understatement. The Dark Raspberry Semifreddo is made with 55% Belgian dark chocolate cremeux with rich raspberry to create a seductive combination.
Overall, Aubree ( #SayAubree ) is a complete experience with high end chocolates to mouth watering appetizers.
