Noodle Bar – The flavors of Asia
Noodle Bar is one of the most promising destination to experience the unique flavors of Asia. Located on the 1st floor of the Phoenix Mall in Whitefield, Bangalore this outlet takes Oriental cuisine to just another dimension. The décor is made of fine wooden work with prominent red backgrounds and floral art on the sides. The ambiance and settings are calm. We decided to sit on the side table which had sofa on one end and wooden chairs on the other.
The menu at Noodle Bar comprises of the best items from different Asian cuisines. You can order delicious Asian dishes and slurp them up with amazing drinks like LIIT and Margarita. Both these drinks we ordered where fantastic in taste, just right in all respects. The Manchow Soup with Thai Ginger and Red Chilies had fresh veggies with fried noodles on top. The use of Thai Ginger made this soup super refreshing.
Noodle Bar organizes a number of food festivals from time to time to showcase new dishes. Therefore we tried some of the newly added appetizers in the menu. The Paneer Pav Dimsum with Peanut sauce was out of the world. The Dimsum tasted more like a Pav as it was made from a fermented dough. The stuffing of marinated paneer cubes was delicious and the entire combination with the peanut sauce was an excellent innovation. Hats off to their executive chef! The Bok-Choy Dimsum with sweet sauce was also good and super healthy. The Bok Choy made the dimsum crunchy. The Corn Dimsum with sweet and sour sauce was also amazing in taste. The use of sweet and sour reduced soy sauce along with the dimsums was amazing.
For the main course we had the Five treasure Asian Vegetables with Kaffir Lime Leaves. The Kaffir Lime Leaves made the gravy fresh along with water chestnut, lotus stem, broccoli, mushrooms and cauliflower. The gravy went really well with the Noodles which has great flavoring and were served with bean sprouts. We also tried the Schezwan Fried Rice. The fried Rice was spicy with the use of red chilies and once you start eating it you can’t stop in between. Amazing, amazing in taste!
Noodle Bar recently introduced Panacotta with Mint Sauce on its menu. The fresh cream Panacotta was served with a bowl of mint sweet sauce. A unique dish in itself. The Sizzling Fruit and Nut Chocolate Brownie was served with Banana spring rolls and Caramel Ice-cream. Chocolate sauce is added from above to create the sizzling effect on the hot pan. The texture differences of cashew nuts, brownie, ice-cream and chocolate sauce make this dish distinctive.
Noodle Bar remains an outstanding restaurant with amazing dishes and tastes.
