Mighty Small – Relive your childhood
No doubt life is a Circus and Bangalore’s first Carnival themed Restaurant is here at Smaaash, the interactive gaming and interactive zone at 1 MG – Lido Mall. Smaaash opened its door only a few weeks back in Bangalore while also running this brand successfully in Mumbai. Located on the 3rd floor of the mall, ‘Mighty Small’ is lively with colors. The restaurant is setup to please children of all ages, yes you heard it right from kids, to parents and even grandparents. The menu is extensive with Indian cuisines along with fast food options. There is a separate bar along with a desserts bar to suit everyone.
Once inside ‘Mighty Small’ you will feel like in a wonderland, completed with circus-inspired canopies and carousels above your seating booths. There is even an area for private parties and live game hosting. Mighty Small caters to everyone and you will find something or the other that appeals to you.
Juices and Drinks – The bar menu at Mighty Small isn’t small by any standards and has a whole array of drinks, liquor and mocktails to choose from. Tried some of their drinks and it was really refreshing.
Appetizers & Meals – Most of the menu at Mighty Small comprised of fast food like burgers, sandwiches, pizza and some Indian as well as continental appetizers. Here are some that we tried:-
3 Hummus Bread Bowl – Comprised of Peta Bread with different toppings of Garlic, Pesto and Harrisa. The topping were freshly made and went well with the breads. 8/10
Chilli Cheese Lollipops – Who doesn’t love cheese? This dish is made of Chilli Cheese Lollipops with Sweet Chilli Sauce. A bite would take you straight to heaven! 9/10
Paneer 65 – A great combination between Gymkhana Masala, Curry Leaves, Red Chillies and Paneer. The dish has a subtle taste of fennel seeds which makes it unique. 8/10
Roasted Mushroom, Burnt Garlic and Feta Cheese Pizza – Signature Pizza at Mighty Small with Roasted Mushrooms and Burnt Garlic cloves. The Pizza is topped with Feta cheese. The taste was delicious and the burnt garlic gave it a rustic finish. 8.5/10
Lasooni Saag Paneer with Tandori Roti – The reason Mighty Small appeals to everyone is probably because of its huge range of food items. The Lasooni Saag Paneer with Tandoori Paneer is one of the best North Indian dishes I have tried in a while. The combination is simply amazing and you won’t ask for more. The taste of garlic saag with soft Paneer cubes is divine! 10/10
Nasi Goreng Fried Rice – Served as a bento box along with pickled vegetables, the Nasi Goreng Fried Rice comes in authentic taste. The fried rice is made with exotic vegetables like zucchini, broccoli, corn and so on; along with a house-made sauce. Go for it! 9/10
Desserts Bar – The Desserts Bar at Mighty Small gives you the chance to tweak your shakes, sundaes as per your needs. While the range of cakes, cookies and biscuits would make your childhood flash before your eyes.
Caramelized Apple, Cinnamon, Salted Caramel and Marshmallow – The drink is not only decorated with caramel from inside but also from outside making sure your inner child comes licking. The shake is a meal in itself and the caramelized marshmallow on top would leave you mesmerizing. 9/10
Oreos – Great biscuits combination and comes in different flavors like Chocolate, Vanilla, Coffee and so on. Soft, subtle and not overly sweet is the mantra of these bakes goodness. 8/10
Hats off to Chef Tarun Shetty and team who did an excellent job in creating the most amazing appetizers, meals and not to be missed – desserts. Mighty Small has been able to get the inner child in everyone out, to try the most nostalgic dishes.
