The Interactive Cafe – Zee5 Loft

Zee5 Loft is an interactive café which recently opened in HSR, Bangalore. The whole idea is built on Hospi-tainment or Hospitality with Entertainment. The place is fitted with Playstations, VR sets, board games and even have a small library of its own. Zee5 Loft can transform into your restaurant, your office and even your gaming zone. The place is huge and the interiors are modern and quirky. While the kitchen is kept open for everyone to see what’s cookin’. There is even a DIY counter to mix and match your favorites. The whole place is lively and if you are in a hurry you can always go for a variety of finger foods on display which comes for attractive prices.

The menu has a large variety of Shakes and Smoothies and to make things even more interesting they have a Smoothie Cycle. Just hop on to this bike and start rolling! We had a variety of beverages like the Mango Lassi, Vietnamese Coffee, Oreo Rose Shake and the Dahi Bhalla Shake. The Mango Lassi is made with frozen yogurt along with mangoes. The taste was ok and it lacked sugar. The Vietnamese Coffee was simply amazing as it was made with condensed milk. The combination of Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was mind blowing. Next we had the Oreo Rose Shake, which is a blend of vanilla ice-cream, Oreo and Rose syrup. The subtle taste of rose was quite refreshing. Lastly, we tried the Dahi Bhalla Shake which was sweet as well as sour while the taste was very mild.

When it comes to food Zee5 Loft doesn’t disappoint as well. We had the Cheese Breads. This is among the best cheese bread combination we ever had. The cheese was on the top and middle making it irresistible. The Loaded wedges was also an instant hit. The wedges are topped with liquid cheese and house made sauce. The taste was just insane! The Soya Chaap Pizza is made with onion, capsicum and deep-fried soya chaap. The flavors were good if not great.

Next, we had the White Sauce Pasta. The pasta was made in white sauce which we found very watery. The pasta had broccoli, mushrooms and olives. The Paneer Burger was delicious as soft paneer patty was served between breads. The burger comes with potato wedges and mayo sauce. The dish was delicious. Lastly, we tried their Paneer Makhani with Jeera Rice combo. The Makhni sauce was creamy, sweet and sour at the same time. Loved it!

Lastly, we couldn’t resist ourselves to try a few desserts like the Brownie and the Banana Pie. Both the desserts were so-so and could have been much better. The brownie was too soft while the Pie didn’t have any unique flavors. They should really work on their desserts.
