Canton Spice Company at DLF Cyber Hub, Gurgaon is known to serve traditional Chinese cuisine and specializes in Seafoods. The ambiance and decors really goes well with the Oriental setting. Thanks to Zomato for the Food Connect meet at Canton Spice Company. Like every traditional Chinese meal starts with a tea, so was ours. The tea really makes up your appetite.
The Vegetable fried rice with Burnt Garlic was good but the flavors of the burnt garlic were very mild. We also tried the Vegetable stir fried Noodle, the taste of the noodles were delicate. The French Bean in Black bean chili was a little bitter in taste.
The Buddha Delight was a light white sauce based curry accompanying Broccoli, Baby Corn and Mushrooms. Very mild again. The best item on the menu was the Tofu in King Pao style sauce with chunks of peanut. The fresh Tofu was fried before addition to this delicious sweet sauce. Excellent preparation!
The aromas of seafood might be a little challenging for vegetarians. The service was good but the items lacked value for money.
