How would I survive?

In the last few days, I was wondering how would I survive the increasing prices of daily-use commodities. Being an IT engineer and getting a constant increment of 10-15% a year(being very optimistic) how long would it take me to start saving. Lets run a quick comparision :-

The prices of sugar has increased more than 4 folds in the last decade. Thats around 450% to be exact.

If my salary 10 years back was Rs.100 it would be Rs.404 today. Or an increment of 404%, with 15% constant increment rate year on year. Ok, its very hard to get increment every year (by the kind of work I do!! Khe khe ) and also 15% is like too much (if recessions dont come quite often).

Also, sugar may be a little inflated commodity. So the pros and cons actually fits in well. There are other commodities also, which has inflated even more.

By the kind of govenment policies around us, I really doubt my future. Inflation is no longer in the hands of the government only, because we rely so much on imports. Controlling it one time is not the solution but to make such policies that would survive for years. Switching to other companies, is always an option but then you tend to loose the trust and it may sometimes be fatal.

I am still wondering what to do. Any ideas?

Just pray that ur rate of growth of salary matches with the rate of commodities around….

or go be an entrepreneur and earn a lot n lot of profits in a new business idea…Mayb it is risky, but if its a hit….It would be great.. 🙂

Dont worry…It wont be that difficult to survive.. 🙂 🙂
