Whats keeping you so Busy ?

Yoga, the ancient Indian techniques to keep oneself healthy is keeping me busy these days. I have been watching Baba RamdevJi for few days for yoga asanas. I dont know if it is working because I am still a beginner and its not been long to capture those details.

According to Babaji everyone should follow these :-

  1. No Pizza.
  2. No Burgers.
  3. Avoid any stuff made of Maida.
  4. No breads.
  5. No to Tea or coffee. (I never have them anyways)
  6. No Soft drinks.
  7. Drink water after 1 hour of lunch and dinner.
  8. Have milk twice daily.
  9. First thing in the morning : Glass of hot water with lemon and honey.
  10. Yoga asanas for 15mins to 1 hour every day (join a yoga class, else there are plenty of websites to teach you the basic asanas).
  11. Minimal use of oil and spices in our food.
  12. Minimal use of preserved foods and maximum use of Desi fresh food items.

Made up my mind to strictly follow his instructions with grace. I have full faith in the power of Yoga. It has healed millions and is even patronized by the West (whom we always try to follow).

Our childrens are suffering from various diseases like asthama, eye problem at a very early age, all they need is fastfoods. Parents should keep their diets healthy and balanced, and restict the consumtion of fast food items to 1-2 times in a month. We should not choose taste over health.

Even if you are not suffering from any diseases its better that you start practicing Yoga and follow a strict diet. Because our foods are stale, we eat vegetables filled with pesticides, we breate pollutate air, we even started eating Genetically modifies plants. The world is going chaotic.

Whats keeping you so busy, find couple of minutes to practice Yoga everyday for a healthier life.

    Yoga- is about finding peace within your body. And trust me, it is about finding that self restarint in you. (My mother is a Ph.D in Yoga) and trust me, Baba Ramdev is supremely over hyped.
    This is a lesson which my mother has given to all of us-
    That to live life, is to live it on your own terms. A healthy diet is always a great option, but a balanced approach to life is even more important. We all go through various stages of life, and its better to stick to that stage than forcing yourself to move ahead.

    Here is a lil joke-
    ” A man once went to a doctor, and asked; Doc, if I leave eating out, the women, the drinks, will I live to be 100?
    The doc replied; No, but it will sure seem like it”

    Do yoga, follow a routine in life, but that does not mean that you start following it andha dhond.

    Following Yoga is nice. But those 12 little tips aren’t. Being healthy is nice. But you’re still gonna die someday, right? Then my reasoning is to enjoy life before dying.

    That can only happen if we stop eating filthy foods and excercise regularly may it be Yoga!! Its of no use being in the hospital bed later for years when we could have prevented it now!! Baba may be over hyped…i am not going with it….i am gonna see the results in myself!!

    Wow….ur mom’s a Ph.D that too in Yoga…cool yaar!!
