Its more than….a Love Story : Part 5
Part 2 : The Proposal
Part 3 : The First Meeting
Part 4 : It’s more than Love
Can love survive on its own? Tarun and Aarti were deeply in love. Everyone around imagined them as soul mates and potential couples-for-life. Even they did. Sharing every detail, loving every moment, being together always, was their mantra. But life is not love. Life comprises of compromises. The list is never ending. Only the priorities are. And love alone cannot be bread and butter for life.
For Aarti love was not everything. The first thing that came to her mind was career, to be the best in her field. It wasn’t wrong. As she passed on to the 4th year, life became difficult for her to handle. She had enormous pressure from her college. Competition was cut throat. Loosing was never in her dictionary.
But then Love is not winning, it’s loosing, loosing your heart, loosing your consciousness, loosing oneself to another. On the other hand Tarun’s life was going well. He got into a decent job. He had plenty of time to spend. Their relationship followed a 1-2 hour strict deadline for talks. Tarun was not satisfied with this. Many times they talked but it was vain. He had bad temper, and that was growing the seeds of separation within him. Because for him there is no mean to a relationship, if the other partner is not present when he needs her.
Slowly their relationship started deteriorating. Fights become common. After some time, talking after months became a routine. Both were going through emotional turmoil but had no choice. They met many times to resolve their issues, but couldn’t. There was something wrong, but, it was impossible to figure it out with the growing distance.
Life is so beautiful when you’re in love. The same life becomes ugly when the person forgets to love the other. Life is so precious because you’re not alone. The same life is worthless if you have to walk alone. It wasn’t anyone’s fault it was both. It was meant to happen.
Watch out for the next part : The End
