Smise – Eat, Drink, Smile
Smise with the tagline – Eat, Drink, Smile is located in Koramangala area close to Sony World signal. The place has an open roof-top with a dedicated area which is air-conditioned. The whole place is decorated with plants and herbs. The kitchen is open as well to catch all the action. The seating is also decent but this place houses plenty of board games and books. Probably, best for people who like to spend hours sipping their favorite drinks.
The menu comprises of continental items with Indian twist. We ordered couple of mocktails like the Virgin Classic Mojito, Lychee Mojito and the Bubblegum Mojito. The Mojito’s here are not to be missed. The mojito’s had just the right amount of sugar and lime. Loved their Lychee Mojito as it was a good combination of Lychee juice and lime. The Bubblegum Mojito was different. And the Virgin Classic Mojito was super refreshing.
We had the Tex Max Stuffed Mushroom which is a fusion of Indian and Mexican flavors. The Mushrooms are stuffed with cheese which is tossed with tex max sauce. The Mushrooms were tangy and saucy. The Indian Paneer Tikka Burger is another classic. The buns are stuffed with Indian Style Paneer Tikka tossed with Indian spices. The burger is served with fries and the taste of the combo was great. We also had the Smise Special pizza. This Thin crust pizza comes with pineapple, bell peppers, gherkins, sundried tomato, onion and feta cheese. The taste of the pizza was so-so, and we didn’t find anything special about it. The pineapple, sundried tomato and gherkins didn’t work together here.
Smise is best known for its desserts. The desserts here are super big and tastes nothing less than amazing. The Walnut Brownie with Vanilla ice-cream and hot fudge sauce was out of the world. The brownie had a generous amount of walnuts which tasted great with the vanilla ice-cream. Don’t miss it!! The Apple Pancakes came next. This is a layered Pancakes stuffed with cinnamon spiced apple, condensed milk and cake crumble served with fresh apple slices on top. Another lip-smacking desserts and something you won’t find anywhere else.
Overall, the food at Smise is welcoming and desserts to die for!
