The Celebrations at Ambrosia – Clark’s Exotica
Clark’s Exotica is located close to Bengaluru International Airport this property is huge as it is spread over 70acres. Clarks Exotica brings nature right on your laps. The resort has 144 intelligently designed rooms and suites and has an extensive collection of banquet halls, luxurious rooms and presidential suites. This resort is equipped with many sports facilities like table tennis, basketball, cricket, swimming pool and more. It has 11 banquet halls, which can accommodate corporate events, board meetings events and even weddings. The Ocean Convention Center which is spread over 50,000 sq ft, is one of Bengaluru’s largest event spaces.
Clark’s Exotica also houses three restaurants offering varied cuisines and we got to try one of them – Ambrosia. Ambrosia offers buffet lunch/dinner to residents at Clark’s Exotica. The buffet spread has varied cuisines and the menu keeps changing daily. We started the buffet with the Shikampuri Sheekh, a subtle kebab served with onions and green chutney. The Baked Mushroom and leeks Phyllo was among the best appetizers ever tasted. The crispy baked pockets were filled with delicious mushroom spread and tasted amazing. The Hariyoko were made with Tofu and then grilled to perfection.
Next came the Celebrity Mushrooms, the mushrooms were coated in a thick batter and then deep-fried. The Lucknowi Kebab’s were served on a roti and tasted delicious. You can taste the smoky flavors of the kebab. The Vegetable pockets had a mix of different veggies tossed in light soy sauce. The buffet also had a variety of drinks and we tasted the Chandan ka Sharbat made with sandalwood oil and it was delicious, don’t miss it!
The main course had some very delicious curries like the Paneer Amritsari Masala, Jeera Mira Aloo and Kaju Mattar Malchana. There are also couple of continental and Chinese dishes to try out. The desserts here are to be looked forward to as the spread is vast. Some of the most unique ones are the Apple Tart and the Umali.
The buffet at Clark’s Exotica is not to be missed. The Kitchen is headed by Chef Suresh Babu, the Executive Chef at Clarks Exotica, Bengaluru with over 20 years of experience. He has been working with at the Clarks Exotica over the past 6 years and has created magic with his culinary excellence.
