ASUS Zenfone 2 – Launch

ASUS today launched it’s 2nd generation of Zenfone’s called the Zenfone 2. The phone is a combination of strength (performance) and beauty (ergonomics/looks). Zenfone 2 has been launched at a price of Rs. 12,999 and their premium model would be sold at Rs. 22,999. Flipkart.com would be the exclusive retail partner. The host for this launch was VJ Anuskha. The launch was a star studded event with a performance from Aditi Singh Sharma (from the fame of ‘Dhoom Machale Dhoom’ – Dhoom 3 / ‘Sooraj Dooba Hain’ – Roy). The performance was outstanding and was followed by a talk from Dabboo Ratnani, the most famous celebrity photographer along with Robert Jahns, an Instagram icon. Zenfone 2 was finally launched by Jerry Shen, the CEO of ASUS and Saif Ali Khan. The entire evening was made interactive by Indiblogger.in Team.

Zenfone 2 comes with a wide variety of features and has a quadcore processor with these specifications. After testing it out myself, the ergonomics of this phone were fabulous. The camera is a game changer and has the clarity of an human eye, absolutely stunning picture quality. We clicked a few picture and the details were just perfect. Have been using Zenfone 5 for quite sometime and love the personalization that can be done with the device. Zenfone 2 is on the same line but just way better. Zenfone 2 is just loaded with features and its specifications could not even match any other phone across any price range. For people on the go Zenfone 2 comes with 3000mAH battery and can be charged from 0% to 60% in just 39mins. On top of that, the volume key is located at the back of the phone instead of the sides, a great engineering marvel. Zenfone 2 comes with different color options and the back panel could be interchanged to make it stunningly beautiful. ASUS also launched various other accessories with its Zenfone 2 like the ZenPower, a 10,050 mAH power bank and ZenFlash, a 100X brighter than LED flash, Lolliflash to get the correct skin tone color.
