The Chic Express, Old Railway Road, Gurgaon
The newly opened outlet on Old Railway road boasts of being a complete family restaurant. The Chic Express has Indian and well as Chinese cuisines. The outlet is big with big hoarding in the front to attract your attention. We just happen to find this place.
We ordered the Aloo Pyaaz Amristari Kulcha. The Kulcha was super hot and the chole were subtle in taste. Not overly spicy. The combo comes with onion in fresh green chutney. Well we loved this dish. We also ordered the Masala Sikhanji, the Sikhani had fresh mint extract and was very flavorful. The drink was not overly sweet but refreshing.
We then ordered the Chinese combo – Fried Rice and Chilli Panner. The combo comes with Kimchi Salad which was very spicy. The Fried Rice was good and had vegetables like beans and carrot. The Chilli Panner was cooked in a tomato based sauce with large chunks of Onion and Capsicum.
The service was good, no complains there. Also the items carry good value for money.
