Irresistible Tea and Snacks at ‘Chaayos’
‘Chaayos – Experiments with Chai’ is a chain of outlet that’s serves Indian as well as International tea along with other snacks. The outlet at Goodearth City Center, Sector 50, Gurgaon is located in the extreme right corner on the ground floor. As soon as you enter the outlet the smell of blended tea mesmerizes you. The seating arrangement is simple with iron chairs. The place is spread over 2 floors and has a seating arrangement for 25-30 people. The tables are on side and the kitchen is on the other. The outlet was playing some incredible pop numbers.
We ordered the Kulhad Chai and the Strawberry Shake. The Kulhad Chai was made from a masala and saffron and served in ofcourse the Indian Earthen Cup, Kulhad. The tea was piping hot and after addition of sugar was just great in taste. The Strawberry shake was a blend of fresh strawberries, milk and sugar. The shake was ok and could have been better. The shake was light and the slight sour taste of Strawberry was evident. The chain does not use any artificial flavoring or coloring which came as a relief.
We also tried the Napoli Sandwich and the Carrot Cake. The Carrot cake was fresh and good in taste. The Napoli sandwich has a stuffing of Garlic roasted mushrooms along with cheese and olive oil. To serve such a heavy flavored stuffing the Sandwich is served in Focaccia bread instead. The sandwich was incredible in taste and a must try here. The sweet mayo was going great with the sandwich. If you’re at Chaayos, don’t forget to try this.
At Chaayos all the items are of great value for money. But the staff needs to be a little more interactive and menu’s should be placed on each table. The outlet also does delivery to near-by places.
