Narinder Sweet House, Mall Road, Kasauli
In the abode of Khushwant Singh, Narinder Sweet House is recognized as the place that has the best Gulab Jamun. The shop may not be in the best of condition but Narinder Sweet House on the Mall Road of Kasauli is the most famous shop here. The shop is old and the furniture is even older.
How could we have missed these Gulab Jamun? The Gulab Jamun’s were pipping hot and is served 2 per plate. The Jamun’s were super soft and just melted in the mouth. The Jamun’s are made fresh everyday or even more than once depending on the demand. The Gulab Jamun was divine and out of the world. The words of Khushwant Singh stands true even today.
We also tried their Bun Samosa. The Bun was grilled beautifully and the bread was soft. The Samosa inside was flavorful and tasty. The crunchy outer layer of the Samosa and the soft bread was a great combination. We also tried their Tea, the tea was made to order and was not overly sweet. The ginger and cardamon made the tea refreshing.
The place is always bustling with customers and most of the items here are for take-away.

Overall, a jewel in the valley and a meal worth the journey. Narinder Sweet House really stands out.
I love kasauli hills. I have spent most of my time over there. I would like to walk in mountains, specially near railway track. I love toy train. I love to ride my bike in kasauli, it prevents me from traffic also. Now a days there is so much family’s visiting over there and because of this, there are so many cars and it causing so much traffic, which is so annoying. But whenever i visit in kasauli, i feel fresh every time. It gives so much peace inside my body.
Kasauli is an amazing place…. misty and serene…..:)
