An amusing SMS

After a period of some 7 years I got in touch with an old school friend in Kolkata (gracias a Facebook). He just completed his CA and we were on ‘sms-chat’ for the 1st time. After our usual hows and whys, he was doing some tax calculations in his office and messaged me :-

Listen dude… I have some work to complete… will message you in sometime”.

I replied back , “Aha. I don’t want you to put extra zeroes anyways. I am free all day long, that’s what I get paid for. Bye”.

I read it again and loved myself.

A lovely quote :- Never tell anyone that you’re writing a book, going on a diet, exercising, taking a course, or quitting smoking. They’ll encourage you to death.
