Its more than….a Love Story : Part 3

 

The feeling’s Tarun and Aarti shared were sacred, to the purest form of love. They felt so much into each other even when they were thousands of kms apart. He cared about her alot, it was very hard to show her. He would pray for her health and safety. He would follow her routine so that she never misses her breakfast. He would wake her up so that she reaches her college on time. Love indeed had no boundaries. But, he never actually wanted anything from her. The very reason of his existence has been fulfilled the day she walked with his life.

Their college’s started, all through the lecturers they would be busy – chatting. In the middle of the night they would give miss-calls to remind the other that he/she is being missed. Both became socially unreachable, they made no new friends or even talk to the existing ones. Friends would envy them.

It was the end of September and a strange feeling started growing up. They need to meet each other. Tarun made up his mind to visit Dehradun and stay at his long-gone maternal uncle’s house. He told his plans to Aarti, she was blush with happiness. Her dream of meeting him would soon be fulfilled.

The day had arrived, the 4th of October. Both were nervous, the pulse exceeding 150. Tarun reached Dehradun. The door bell finally rang. They saw each other for the first time and hugged tightly. They fell in love again. He has never seen someone as beautiful as Aarti. Her skin was smoother than the fur of a polar bear. She smelled like jasmine and her perfume was intoxicating. They sat down on the bed with a outlook to talk about ‘their’ future. But as they started talking, both moved forward, it was mutual, and kissed on the lips. No word can ever describe how the first kiss felt. They become dumb. It was indeed divine.

The bond of ‘life and death’ has been created. Three days went by in exploring Dehradun with each other.Aarti never knew Dehradun would be so beautiful. It was time for Tarun to go back to his college. She cried as if it was his last day. But Tarun made her sure that they have a long way to go and they would meet soon. ‘Hope’ keeps everyone alive. Hope that her love would be with her all her life. Hope that the trust she had would never be broken. Hope that they would run into each other soon.
