The Global Buffet – The Globe Grub

After their grand success in Marathalli, The Globe Grub recently opened its newest outlet in BTM, just 2mins away from Vega City Mall. The place is spread over two floors and once inside you would feel as if in a Mediterranean setting. The ambiance is lively and the outlet is huge in size. Their liquor license is underway and soon you can enjoy the best buffet while sipping your favorite drinks. The place is known for its all round buffet and has some of the best dishes from along the world.

We kicked off with some the house mocktails like the Blue Pacific, Masala Soda and the Virgin Mojito. Each of the drinks were refreshing and unique in flavors. The Masala Soda was spicy and lemony. The Virgin Mojito was refreshing from the mint and lemon. The Blue Pacific was simple made with blue curacao.

The Globe Grub is one place where you can eat your heart out. The Tomato Dhaniya Shorba was tangy with a hint of coriander, amazing in taste. By now we started getting the appetizers one by one. The Tandoori Gulistan or tandoori broccoli was filled with tandoori masala and had a fine smoky taste. The crispy corn were tossed in onions, capsicum and chillies, just the way we liked. The Tandoori Pineapple was sweet and spicy at the same time, don’t miss! The Crumb fried Mushrooms were filled with cheese and mushrooms, delightful. But out favorite was the Cajun Spice Potato, these deep fried potatoes are served with Cajun dip on top. Absolutely amazing.

The Globe Grub has a wide array of live counters. They even have a separate salad bar with a wide range of condiments, dips and veggies. There are couple of live counters as well. We tried the Papdi Chaat and the Dahi Puchka from the Chaat Counter. One of the best live counter is the Pizza and Pasta counters. We had the Paneer Pizza along with white sauce creamy pasta. Both of them were outstanding. The Mongolian Dimsums were served with two chutneys and the flavors were spot on.

The main course also had a variety of curries, rice items and so on. We just tasted a bite from each. They even have few Chinese dishes in the main course like noodles and veg gravy. The veg biryani was good and was served with raita.

We jumped straight to the desserts counters. They do have a live icecream parlor where you can mix your fav and create something new. The Shahi Tudka was one of the best things here. Just perfectly fried with rabdi on top. The Pancake with caramel syrup and blueberry syrup was fluffy and delicious. The Marble cake was good as well. Don’t miss on their hot Gulab Jamuns and halwa. There were pastries and baked goodness as well.

Overall, the Globe Grub is a total value for money deal. You can enjoy some of the best dishes from across the world here.
