With Sweet Beginnings

Sweet Beginnings was started by a Mother-Daughter duo to cater to their family and friends needs for baked products. This family owned home business has now expanded their portfolio in Sandwiches, cookies, muffins, biscuits, cakes and much more to cater to wider customers across Bangalore. What is even more intriguing is the fact that with no professional experience they have been able to perfect recipes that might take decades to master.

Got a chance to try the products from Sweet Beginnings at a recent event and was simple awestruck by the quality, taste and presentation of the products. First, I tried the Red Velvet Mini Cakes that comes with real cream cheese frosting. This mini cake can even be brought in a cake form for parties and events. Next I tried the Dark Chocolate Surprise and there is indeed a surprise hidden inside the cupcake. The cake is filled with caramel salt to compliment the dark chocolate, a must try for chocolate lovers. The French Crème Brulee was topped with sugar coating and was outstanding! One of the best Crème Brulee I have tasted so far.

Between all these Sweet Beginnings we tried the Cool Cucumber Sandwich and the Mushroom and Spinach Quiche to compliment. One of the best sandwiches for summer is the Cool Cucumber with a light mayo dressing and cucumbers pieces. Very light on stomach and comes at a very competitive price. On the other hand, the Mushroom and Spinach Quiche just melt in the mouth. The dough base would crumble at the slightest touch. With a light mushroom and spinach filling the quiche was topped with melting cheese.

Next we tasted some of the main cookies from the kitchen like the Chunky Choco Cookies, Naan Khatai, Jam Drops, French Macarons and the Nutty Chewy Chocolate. The Naan Khatai is a secret family recipe and has been mastered by the two. This cookie is made with pure ghee and tasted like heaven. It was simply amazing and there cant be anything better than this. Sweet Beginnings also makes a wide variety of French Macarons based on your needs. I tried the chocolate Macarons and it broke at the slightest bite. Lastly I took a bite of the Nutty Chewy Chocolate, this chewy chocolate cookies is quite a filling but tasted damn good!
