Welcome to Three Dots and a Dash

Three Dots and a Dash in Indiranagar, Bangalore recently completed a year in operation and introduced a new Tiki cocktail menu. The name itself is very interesting as it stands for the morse code for the letter ‘V’ and the name of the drink created by Ernest Raymond Gantt, famously known as Don the beachcomber, as a tribute to the American soldiers who fought in World War II. The ambiance at Three Dots will transport you to a retro-oasis with tropical feeling. The place is decorated with bamboo and natural wood across the interiors. There is even a roof top Tiki bar which will take you straight to Hawaii.

Three Dots and a Dash is famous for one of its kind Tiki Bar. Three dots believes in a saying, ‘it is not what you drink, but what you drink it in’! The cocktails are served in tropical style Tiki Mugs, which have an unique style and are quite interesting. Some of the newer drinks on the menu includes Dark and Stormy, Rob’s Mistake, Fog Cutter, Pineapple Daiquiri, Jungle Bird. Each of the drinks are either served in a Tiki Mug or a unique tropical style with the use of fruits & flowers for garnishing. Loved their Dark & Stormy and Rob’s Mistakes drinks.

To complement these cocktail drinks, the Chef has curated a special menu as well. Like the new Waldrof Salad with creamy apple & walnuts, the taste was fantastic. The Lemon Coriander Soup was good. The new starters include California Spud, Herb Cheese Stuffed Mushroom, and Vegetable Croquettes. The Californian Spud includes a variety of ingredients placed in potato skin and baked. This was a spicy cheesy treat, don’t miss it. The Herb cheese stuffed mushroom is made of fresh herbs and mozzarella cheese stuff with mushrooms. The Vegetable Croquettes were filled with mixed vegetables and served with a chili mayo dip.

For the main course we had the Vegetable Tagine with Cous Cous and Spicy Veggie whole wheat Pizza. The Vegetable Tagine with Cous Cous was one of the highlights of the menu. This mixed veg korma curry is served with Cous Cous and the taste is simply awesome. The spicy veggie whole wheat had toppings that include jalapeno’s, Hungarian smoked paprika, black olives and bell peppers.

The dessert consisted of the Hawaiian Banana split with fresh cream and the Bailey’s Raspberry Gateau. The Hawaiian Banana split was enormous in size as it was served inside a Pineapple. The taste was delicious. The Bailey’s Raspberry Gateau is a pastry piece with raspberry sauce. Unique!
