Country Inn & Suites, Mysore – Part 1

The Country Inn & Suites, Mysore is part of the Carlson group which includes luxury hotel chains like Radisson, Park Plaza and Park Inn among others. The group currently manages more than 1400 hotels in more than 115 countries making it one of the most diversified hospitality chain. My currently stay was at the Country Inn & Suites, Mysore which is located close to the Outer Ring road just opposite to the world famous Infosys Campus making it ideal to move in and out of Mysore in only a few minutes. This 5 star property is a perfect getaway for holidaymakers especially from Bangalore and close by cities.

The hotel has over 130 rooms divided into 3 broad categories and vary between 275 square feet to 550 square feet in area. We decided to stay at the Executive Suite which had a separate business area, luggage room and a private balcony. At Country Inn & Suites it is all about providing excellent hospitality, so, as soon as we entered we were greeted and welcomed by all the staff members. The room were simply beautiful and so was the view from the balcony. As soon as we checked-in into our room we were presented with welcome drinks and freshly made cookies. On the other hand the bathroom were modern with a bathtub and shower cubicle.

What really makes this property different is the fact that this hotel is perfect both for business as well as for luxury stay. The rooms are equipped with all modern business amenities while the property has facilities like Club Lounge, Fitness Center, Swimming Pool, Spa and so on. The Club Lounge is a perfect place to relax and read your favorite book while sipping excellent cocktails. We also explored the R3 Spa which is famous for its wraps and messages. Being a kids friendly hotel they have a separate pool for kids as well as a kids play area. This property is equipped with board rooms for business meetings; banquet halls and lawn area for large get-together and team building.

Overall, my stay at Country Inn & Suites was relaxing and the perfect weekend getaway I was looking for a long time. This property is an ideal beehive both for business as well as for family holidaymakers.
