It’s more than….a Love Story : Part 1

The Beginning

It was just after the end of the 1st year at college. Tarun went home to meet his parents in the month of May. He used to study in a engineering college in Pune. Life was simple and happy at 20. There was nothing much he would look forward too in his life. He was single and a internet addict. Dont know how, Aarti got into his messenger. Actual Tarun used to add any contacts into his messenger, he had this peculiar habit. One fine day when both were online, he started the chat.

love story

She was cautious, at first, thought of blocking him. But his simplicity kept the messages flowing in for a while until they got used to each other in about a week. One day Tarun was successful in get her cell number. It was a big achievement for him. He was nervous, wanted to be a good friend of Aarti but didn’t want to ruin this friendship, so he had to gather all his strength to call her. They talked for 5 mins about their daily lives, colleges, parents. Thats how they become friends.

It was the only time when they talked so less. And that very moment they knew there is a long way to go with there budding long-distance-chat-turned-phone-friendship. Her voice was fresh, she was just 19. Studying in a fashion designing college in Dehradun. There was indeed a connection between the two.

love story

The following day they talked for straight 2 hours in the middle of the night so that his parents didn’t have the slightest chance of knowing what was happening. They had discussed their entire life’s past, present and the clueless future. Tarun thought he had known Aarti for decades. Hours turned into days, days into months they become crazy about each other. Each would start the day with a lovely friendship message. Each would keep the other updated about the slightest moment in their life’s. Tarun even bought the free-call-all-night phone so that there is no interruption. In a little while, they become the best of friends.

(P.S :- This is a work of fiction and all characters are barely imagination.)
